The Block Island School will not be able to provide transportation this week from Monday, February 6th through Monday, February 13th. We expect to resume morning transportation on Tuesday, February 14th.

Due to inclement weather, The Block Island School will be cancelled on Friday, December twenty third. This will not be a distance learning day. Additionally, due to the inclement weather the Block Island School has scheduled an early release day at 1 pm for Thursday, December twenty second.

Middle School Spirit Week is off to a great start!

An important email was just sent about the Block Island School fire sprinkler system. The State Deputy Fire Marshal has said that we can attend school tomorrow. The administration and staff will take all of the necessary precautions tomorrow to maintain safety for everyone. For more info, please read the email.

The Block Island School will not be able to provide transportation this morning, Thursday November seventeenth. We are having technical difficulties with the electric bus charging station. We will update you as soon as possible about tomorrows transportation.

Tomorrow, Tuesday November fifteenth, the Block Island School will resume morning transportation. We are hopeful we resolved the charging problem . If we continue to have the same difficulties in the morning, we will let you know.

Job Opportunity

Happy Veterans Day. This time of year, before holiday weekends, we have our challenges with the ferry schedule aligning with school dismissal. This Thursday, November tenth, the Block Island School will have an early dismissal at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, November second, the Block Island School will resume morning transportation. We will not be providing afternoon transportation yet. Also, thank you to all the families and students for making the new drop off and pick up procedures safer today.

Tomorrow, Friday October twenty-eighth. the Block Island School will not be able to provide transportation in the morning or afternoon due to technical difficulties with the charging station. We will send more information about transportation next week as soon as possible.
