BIS 6th and 7th grade joined members of the Block Island community and Senators Reed and Whitehouse at the Southeast Light on June 5th for the community celebration and lighting ceremony of BroadbandBI. 7th grader, Kayden Morales had the honor of flipping the switch; which was designed by Senior, Fisher Johnston and Junior, Justin Cullen and printed on the school's 3D printer for a project sponsored by the Town Council under the direction of Tech Ed teacher, Robert Closter.
